Life's a beach

Plage Noire 2025 is history!

And just like that, it's over again – our cozy family reunion on the dark Baltic Sea. And yet, it will remain forever: the concerts we marveled at, the uplifting camaraderie we celebrated, and the fantastic atmosphere that accompanied us this weekend! Has the longing been satisfied? Is the memory library full? Well, let's just say the newest additions look wonderful, and there's still room for many more!

FRIDAY

Many of you already knew us from the warm-up party on Thursday night, but true festival magic crackled in the air as the black-clad crowd streamed in front of the stages for the first time to begin the festivities. And how much longing and wistfulness permeated the day! From the powerful opening set by Gothminister and Any Second, through a killer set by [:SITD:] and Letzte Instanz's last concert at this festival, to the undeniable brilliance of Das Ich und Deine Lakaien, this Friday at the festival was one for the ages. And any day that doesn't end with a heart-wrenching set from VNV Nation should be illegal! Thank you, Ronan!

SATURDAY

You proved to us once again on the second day of the festival that the fire in our hearts is unquenchable. Because—hats off!—Lacrimas Profundere transformed the audience into a cauldron of energy at Le Chapiteau. But with Beasto Blanco, Oomph!, Schandmaul, and Scarlet Dorn, the musical weather was already set to stormy on this Saturday. The exquisite setlists from Frozen Plasma and Suicide Commando were no exception! And he just swept the dark 2025 festival season away from the stage with Nitzer Ebb, delivering a dignified and electronic finale. There's no better way to end this chapter of the festival season.

AND IN BETWEEN

Every year, we look forward to enchanting you with a touch of extravagance at Plage Noire. And who better to whisk us away to the realms of fantasy and offbeat humor than Christian von Aster, Markus Heitz, and Isa Theobald? We also hope you found plenty of inspiration at the fashion shows and in the Salon de Beauté, as well as some treasures at Le Bazar. By the way: Did you spot Isabelle LeFavre wandering around the festival this year? Tag us in your photos on social media!

THE BEACH PHOTO

Once again, it was an exquisite pleasure to bring the annual photo to life with you. Despite the early hour, hundreds of you were at the pier. Here you can download the fruits of our labor.
