Postponement of Plage Noire 2024

Plage Noire, originally scheduled for April 26-27, 2024, will be rescheduled for November 29-30, 2024.

Dear guests,

Today we would like to inform you of a decision that we did not make lightly, but feel is the best solution for you and our beloved Black Beach gathering: Plage Noire, originally scheduled to take place on April 26-27, 2024, will be postponed to November 29-30, 2024.

Before we explain to you exactly what you have to do now, we would like to transparently inform you about the reasons behind this decision: As you have probably already noticed, the event industry is still not in a normal state after the pandemic: material and personnel are not only difficult to obtain, but have also become around 45 percent more expensive across all sectors. This difficult logistical and economic situation means that we will not be able to produce the festival in April in a sustainable way and at a level that you are used to. In November, things are different: During this period, other festivals are already taking place at the same location, and we can join forces with them and take advantage of synergies, because personnel and materials for three major events in immediate succession are naturally easier to procure and at better conditions.

What does this mean for you? If you still don't want to miss Plage Noire, you can change your tickets with a few clicks and receive an exclusive "Plage Noire Family" t-shirt for every ticket with overnight stay as a thank you for your trust and loyalty.

You don't have time on the new date? Then you can have your tickets refunded including all fees. You don't know yet if you can make it? In any case, you have three months to make your decision.

Thank you very much for your time. Of course, we hope to see you again in November 2024. Remember? Plage Noire 2021 also took place in the fall due to the pandemic, and the beach may have been even blacker than usual then. One thing is certain: We want to continue the legend of our gathering in any case. Moving it permanently to the fall is exactly the right step for that.

With love and anticipation,
Your team from the Black Beach
